Good morning. God promises us something. He promises to be in our life not as a idea, not as a go to person to find out what’s right and what’s wrong. But we have this relationship with him that has a mysterious quality to it. And the quality is there is this mysterious part of the Trinity. We have the Father, we have the Son, and we have this thing called the Holy Spirit.

And the Holy Spirit is the one that is hard to grasp. What is the Holy Spirit? It’s a bird. I remember there was a nun that used to, I knew so very well, Sister Jose Hobday. And she used to teach American Indians and they would say, understand honorable Father, understand honorable Son, don’t understand, honorable bird. Bert is etheric.

It’s not something you can sit down and figure out exactly what it is. It’s called wisdom. And it’s so different than knowledge. Knowledge is easy. It’s black and white. It’s a binary world.

It’s logical, you know, it doesn’t. Sometimes people come up with ideas. You say that doesn’t make any sense because it’s not logical. But this mysterious etheric spirit is called wisdom. Another word for it is love. And the thing that I love about talking about it is that you can’t nail down exactly how it works or where it works or when it works.

All you know is that there is this way of knowing something that’s different than logic, that this thinks, this feels, this is where the spirit lives. This Holy Spirit is love, healing, transforming love that goes out from you and it’s just, it’s not in our control. That’s why it’s hard to work with. It’s something that flows through us. All we need to do is believe in it, trust in it, and long for its effectiveness. So be sure you’re paying attention to the desires of your will is to put into action what you think about and what you intuitively feel.

And they’re both important. But nothing’s more important in your faith life with God than to be in touch with wisdom. Wisdom, love, healing power resonating out of an organ in your chest. If you know anything about science, you’ll know that there’s an electromagnetic field comes out of your heart, goes out and comes back around. And when somebody’s in that field, it affects them, it changes them. The best description I can give you in science for the reality of wisdom, it’s the greatest of gifts, so keep it in mind.
